It's hard to walk away from someone you love - says a friend of mine.
Made me think.
How can the sun set from the earth they love.
Some people say that walking away may be the easiest. Knowing where to go is the hardest. It somehow implies moving to a different place. Walking away. Turning your back. Moving forward.
How do you walk away from someone you love? What a poignant question.

Love is such a heavy thing. So heavy that it grounds you. Keeps you planted. Steady. Immovable. It weathers the gusts of winds and storms. Rain or shine you are there because of love. It's so heavy that all your energy is needed to carry this heavy love.
Love is such a strong word. So strong has the power to knock you over. So strong it has the power to lift you up. So strong it can throw you through a loop. Love takes you on a ride. A ride that has its high so high that you hang on to your dear life for you know, what comes up must fall down.
The amount of time love requires is infinite. What time do you walk away, there's never a good time.

The depth of love is so deep that to reach the surface is insurmountable. So you stay under the depths comforted by the serenity and peace and the soothing sound of the deep.
The amount of space that love occupies is so vast. Wherever you go, wherever you look, on all directions, walking away one direction leads you back to love.
The shadow that love cast is so big is so hard to see where the brightness begins.
The song of love does not stop playing there's no other music worth listening.
Love is consuming. You give love all your time without you knowing. Love takes what you give.

So how do you walk away from someone you love?
You stay until there's no more love to give.
The love described above is our love within. It will be very difficult for us to describe someone else's love toward us.
Our Love within is an energy. It cannot be created nor destroyed. It can only be transformed.
And with love you will transform.
The heaviness will soon get lighter. When there is no more love to give, the weight of that love you carry becomes air.
The power will be gentler. The power of that love within will transform to gentleness within.
The depth will shallow, the surface will follow. The depth of the cuts will slowly heal until all that is left is a memory of a mark.
The rain will fall, the clouds will go, the songs will end.
Because time outlasts love, like a butterfly getting its wings, you would not need to walk away
The sun will set, the moon will rise, in time you will learn to fly.
